1. Provider and Scope

These Terms govern all orders placed through this shop, operated by Carsten Claus (Dohnaer Str. 47, 01219 Dresden), e-mail: info@imexcc.de.

2. Service Description

We offer a birdwatching guide book created individually for the town chosen by the customer, delivered as a downloadable PDF. Texts and illustrations are generated with the help of artificial intelligence based on publicly available data sources (including GBIF, OpenStreetMap and web research). The species and locations listed are frequently reported and easily observable; an actual sighting is not guaranteed.

The customer may optionally add a personal dedication, shown on its own page right after the cover, and may redeem a coupon code that reduces the price by the stated percentage (up to a fully free order with a 100% coupon).

3. Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of the offer does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order. The contract is concluded upon submitting the order and successful payment (or full coverage by a 100% coupon). Creation begins immediately afterwards.

4. Prices and Payment

The final price shown during checkout, inclusive of statutory VAT, applies (19.90 €, subject to any redeemed coupon). Payment is handled by Link, a Stripe service (Sold through Link, LLC). Link collects the payment on our behalf, appears as the merchant at checkout (“Sold through Link”), calculates and remits the VAT for the buyer’s country and issues the receipt and invoice. We remain your contracting party for the book; paying Link discharges your payment obligation to us. Link’s terms apply in addition to the payment step (link.com/terms). The payment step is skipped when a coupon fully covers the price; in that case we issue the invoice.

5. Delivery

Once generation completes, the download is available on the status page and by e-mail with the finished PDF. The receipt and invoice come by e-mail from Link (for coupon orders, from us). Generation can take several minutes.

The download link is valid for 14 days after completion. After that period, the personalized PDF file is deleted for privacy and storage reasons and can no longer be downloaded. We recommend downloading and saving your own copy promptly.

6. Right of Withdrawal

As the book is created individually to your specifications, no right of withdrawal exists (§ 312g(2) no. 1 BGB). For digital content, § 356(5) BGB additionally applies — you separately confirm during checkout that creation begins immediately and that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. 7. Warranty and Liability

The purchased PDF is intended for private use. We do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of AI-generated content to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory liability (in particular for intent, gross negligence, or harm to life, body or health) remains unaffected.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the CISG. We voluntarily participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before the following consumer arbitration board: Universalschlichtungsstelle des Bundes am Zentrum für Schlichtung e.V., Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein, Deutschland (https://www.universalschlichtungsstelle.de/).

9. Severability

Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
